Since starting Kayla Cares LLC in May of 2025, my goal has always been to provide compassionate, personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. I believe in showing up for people — not just in their daily routines, but in the little things that bring them joy, dignity, and independence.

So when the opportunity came up to collaborate with Dawn Pence, owner of Care A Ride, it just made sense.

Dawn and I have worked together before — since 2022, actually — and I’ve always admired how much heart she puts into her work. Care A Ride offers wheelchair-accessible transportation, rides to medical appointments, help running errands, and even a car for non-wheelchair transport. It’s not just a ride — it’s a support system on wheels.

This partnership means that clients of Kayla Cares now have even more options. Whether it’s getting to a doctor’s appointment, doing some light shopping, or just getting out of the house for a change of scenery — we can help make that happen.

We’re two local women with a shared mission: helping people live fuller, more independent lives — on their own terms.
