🌟 Join Us at the Disability Resource Fair – July 26 at Main Street Square! 🌟
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rapid City’s annual Disability Resource Fair is taking place at Main Street Square. This year’s event is extra special as we mark the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the 50th anniversary of the City’s Disability Awareness and Accessibility Committee.
What’s Happening:
🤝 Free vendor booths featuring local services, support groups, and adaptive tools
🎶 Entertainment by internationally renowned musician Tony DeBlois (who is blind and has autism)
🎨 Chalk art from the Suzie Cappa Art Center and games with the Rapid City PAL
Why This Matters:
This event is all about community, accessibility, and celebration. It’s a fantastic opportunity to:
Learn about local resources and adaptive services
Connect with organizations that support independence and inclusion
Honor the progress made since the ADA was passed in 1990
